কাপুরুষ কে ভালোবাসলে....

সজল ভাই একটু রাফ বলেছেন, আমি অবশ্য এত রাফ বলি না, আরেকটু সুন্দর করে বলি। আমার বিয়ে নিয়ে ছেলে আর মেয়ের জন্য লিখা দুইটা পড়লেই বুঝবেন। সেটা কমেন্টে রাখছি।

প্রেম করার সময় ননী মাখন তোলা তুলতুলে এস্ট্রোজেন ডমিন্যান্ট সিম্প সয়বয়দের সাথে প্রেম করবা, এরপর বিয়ের পর সে কেন রেস্পন্সিবল না, সে কেন স্ট্রং না, সে কেন তার মা/বোন/খালাদের ইভেন তোমার নিজের মা/বোনের এগেইন্সটে তোমাকে প্রোটেকশন দেয় না সেইটা নিয়া কমপ্লেইন করবা..কেন তার লাইফে তুমি ছাড়া কোন এচিভমেন্ট নাই তা নিয়া হা হুতাশ করবা, আপু, এগুলা বিয়ের আগে খেয়াল থাকে না তোমাদের?? 

বিয়ে তো এমন কোন ঘটনা না যে কোন মানুষকে ফান্ডামেন্টালি চেঞ্জ করে দেবে। যে উইক, ইরেসপন্সিবল সে সবসময়েই সাধারনত তাই। 

ছেলেকে বিয়ের সময় খালি ছেলের মা-বোনদের দেইখো না, ছেলের ফ্যামিলিতে প্যাট্রিয়ার্কি আছে কিনা ঐটাও দেইখো। ভাল ফাদার ফিগার না পাইলে, কোন মিনসের ছেলে সাধারনত মর্দ হয়ে ওঠে না।

তুমি তুলতুলে বাবুটা চাবা, এগুলা তো তোমাকে নিতে পারতে হবে। রিলেশানশিপে একজনকে অন্তত দুনিয়াদারীর মিট গ্রিন্ডিং মেশিনের ভিতর দিয়ে যাইতে হয়, সেইটা হয় তুমি হবা বা তোমার জামাই।

সো, একটু খেয়াল কইরা, কেমন?? যে তোমার সামনে ডসাইল, সে তার মায়ের সামনেও ডসাইল হবে এই সম্ভাবনাই বেশি।

Magic of the Holy Quran

My kids showed me today that they have a good grasp on mental health. 

Me, irately chastising the kids after a series of difficult, stressful, and/ or annoying mishaps and issues with the kids: 

"أنتم هتشييبوني!" 

"Y'all are going to age me!" Ie. "turn my hair white with age."

One boy: 

"لا، حضرتك لسه ما شبتيش! لسه فاضل لك وقت حتي توصلي لمرحلة سيدنا زكريا. "رَبِّ إِنِّي وَهَنَ الْعَظْمُ مِنِّي وَاشْتَعَلَ الرَّأْسُ شَيْبًا...""

"No, you (formal: your grace) have not aged yet. You still have some time until you reach the stage of Sayyiduna Zakariyya. "O my Lord, verily my bones have weakened, and my head has filled with white..."" (Surat Maryam, 4)

Another boy: 

"لا، هي مش قصدها الشعر الأبيض. قصدها التعب والإرهاق. أقرب لسورة المزمل: "فَكَيْفَ تَتَّقُونَ إِن كَفَرْتُمْ يَوْمًۭا يَجْعَلُ ٱلْوِلْدَٰنَ شِيبًا.""

"No, she doesn't mean white hair. She means tiredness and exhaustion. Closer to Surat Al-Muzzammil: "Then how can you fear, if you disbelieve, a Day that will make the children white-haired?"" (Surat Al-Muzzammil, 17)

I burst out laughing, despite my frustration and annoyance. 

At least the kids seem to have a pretty good grasp on the connection between mental stress and physical symptoms! 😅

But, on a serious note: this is truly a blessing. Kids' brains are like fast little computers, taking in input (my word, شيب: to age, from شاب يشيب شيبا ), and using it like a keyword search, quickly correlating it to other words like it from what they know of the Quran. They came up with the output: شيبا from Surat Maryam and also from Surat Al-Muzzammil. MashaAllah. 

Dear parents, teach your children Quran with its meaning, and you will be amazed at the results inshaAllah.
